Title: completing the equations
Post by: mnuslt on March 28, 2005, 07:49:17 PM
I think I can balance the equation, but I am having trouble completeing the equations. Help please
Ag + H2O = ? AgO + H2 is this right?
Ag + HCl = AgCl + H is this right?
Ag + Au(NO3)3 = Ag(NO3)3 + Au is this right?
I do not understand how to complete these equations I am really just guessing from looking at other equations, but I do not know what the formula is for solving these problems. Can you help me?

This is a test for your knowledge of silver chemical properties.
in the firs two reactions silver is unreactive, in the third reacts, but is monovalent.

THANK YOU, AWK
After I went back, I realized that the first two was NR also, so thank you for confirming it for me.
