Title: How do you do this type of problem? Stoichiometry
Post by: Dominicnikon on April 04, 2019, 11:06:31 PM
Hello, I have this problem on my homework that I'm stuck on. The question is: how many moles and how many grams of magnesium phosphate are produced by starting with 100 grams of phosphoric acid and an excess of magnesium carbonate? I'm not sure on how to figure out this question, if someone could show me how to do this it would be greatly appreciated.

Start from a balanced chemical reaction.
For ease of use, you have a limiting reagent indicated.
