Title: 3D Modeling Software

Does anyone know of freeware/shareware 3D modeling softare?

I tried using playdoe and pins to build molecules but some of the larger ones are just too tedius.

I personally haven't used any free modelling software, I only have experience with GaussView.  But at first glance, I'd try this link:

Lots of choices there :D
