Title: Recipes for sodium phosphate buffer solution
Post by: suzi on June 15, 2007, 01:28:58 AM
1. I have to find out for my work:
How many grams of NaH2PO4 X H2O and how many grams of Na2HPO4 (dried) I have to take to get a 0.1 M Buffer solution, which has a pH=7.

2. I have the same question for the dried sodium phosphate:

How many of Anhydrous NaH2PO4 I need to mix with how many grams of Anhydrous Na2HPO4 to get a 0.1 M, pH=7 Buffer solution?

I need to find out the answer ASAP. Thanks for your help.

What does mean 0.1 M buffer solution?
What volume of buffer you need?
