Title: How to use the TEAC Method

Im doing a research experiment testing the effect of antioxidants in green tea when adding sugar. I need to use both methods the TEAC HPLC. I know how to use the HPLC method but im not quite sure how to use the TEAC method considering I don't know where to get the catechin (epicatechin) to test. Am I supposed to extract it from the sample? If so how?

A little Googling, and I came across this nice PDF hosted by the people who make Pomi(TM) tablets, so I'm guessing they don't mind the research being shared ...  At any rate, the procedure is there, a little cursory, but you can always use the paper's references for more specifics.
