Hi, i am new here=). i have do clue about biochemistry but my sister is sitting now totaly frustrated about her asigment. she needs to find definition of amylolytic activity, and its characteristics depending on temperature. we've been tring to google it but cant find a general definition. all we find is amylolytic activity in different products and some info connected to medicin. but what is this amylolytic activity is problem to figure out.

I think this is to do with the action of an amylase to break starch or other polysaccharides into simpler sugars
Present in saliva and pancreatic enzyme
Googling amylase turns up loads of hits
