Title: Unearthly Periodic Table

Greetings,

Can you match up the 25 unearthly elements with their earthly counterparts based on the clues???

After about 9 hours of work I am stumped. Take a look at the following page:

Please feel free to download as a word doc. I am trying to solve this, and I am at a brick wall. I don't even know if my answers are correct so far lol. Please give it a try. You can post here with solutions (full or partial), or email me directly at:

Oh geez I wish I saw this post before. Yes, I have solved the unearthly periodic table and assume you do not need the help anymore...

I must say, however, that solving this periodic table was really fun. It was a logic puzzle with a chemical twist!

I can't guarentee correctness, but here are my answers:

(left to right)

Period 1: Pfsst, Bombal
Period 2: Chow, Doggone, Ernst, Floxxit, Goldy, Nuuyte, Apstrom, Logon
Period 3: Byyou, Zapper, Yazzar, Highho, Magnificon, Oz, Kratt, Jeptum
Period 4: Quackzil, Doadeer, Rhaatrap, Terriblum, Sississ, Urrp, Volcania, Wobble
Period 5: Xtalt, Pie, Anatom, Elrado

The one flubbster has asked doesn't seem to match here !

I must say the thing is interesting though can bug you because of the number of clues etc

Oh my gosh, I am extremely sorry! There are many "alien" periodic tables on the web after reading this thread, I was so intrigued that I went on a solving spree. I think I just gave the answers off of a wrong "alien" periodic table. If I find the correct solution set, or feel like tackling the problem again, I will post my answers up. Once again, I apologize.
