Title: question about uv spectroscopy

1-uv spectrum of iodine solution (.0014 M) shows band at 458 nm and (T =35%) using 0.1 cm cell  calculate absorbance of .035 M ?
2- show dependence of of absorbed  light frequency on type of sample?
3- show why max. wavelength does not change when concentration change?
i understand answer of these Que. but i need the ideal answer for them

Step # 1: compute the Molar Absorptivity (extinction coefficient) for your Iodine prep.

using  a relationship between absorbance and percent T,calculate the molar absorptivity. using this value and the new concentration,path lenght, get your absorbance.
but then, show us your answer before we give you the 'ideal'
