I am looking for a resource that describes the function of each part of a calorimeter. The labelled diagram is here:
http://media-2.web.britannica.com/eb-media/54/7054-004-8062DB49.gif
and here is a list of those parts:
oxygen supply
ignition wires
stirrer
insulating jacket
bucket
heater
water
ignition coil
steel bomb
sample
crucible
air space
magnifying eyepiece
thermometer
If anyone can please either point me to a page that includes the function for the parts of a calorimeter or provide them here, it'd be much appreciated. I know the rules say I am to make an attempt first, but I simply cannot find a proper resource. Thanks
