Title: Elements in the same period

What do elements of the same period have in common? They have the same numbers of energy levels. But what do I select from these possible answers:
A. different properties
B.similar chemical properties
C. consistent valence configuration
D. similar electronegativity

So, they have different properties and different electronegativity. What does consistent valence configuration mean? Does it mean the same number of energy levels? Or should I just select A.

Please help

Rephrasing 'consistent valence configuration' - same number of valence electrons?

Elements in the same period do not have same number of valence electrons, then the correct answer is Different Properties Is this correct?

Agreed.  Oh they have different properties in common!  :o
