Title: How to analize a compound

Hi, do you know how are analized unknown compund and how are determinated chemical formulas ?
If I had a liquid compound and i don't know what is, how know?

1)Cromatography and mass spectrum -> numeber and mass of components.

2)Specrtography: IR,UV, elemental mass, NMR, X-ray..

Safety: gloves, glasses, lab coats and work under extractor fan  ;)
