Hi, I am not a chemist...
Different types of osmometers - Vapor pressure or Freezing point depression - use different colligative properties to assess osmolality of a solution.
Although different properties, wouldn't the final value in mOsmo/kg be the same?
Please, tell me why some vendors mention two different value ranges if the solution (cell culture medium) is measure by one or other type of instrument.
Thank you!
