Title: Titration
Post by: Janey on November 15, 2005, 02:25:27 PM
Hi all ^^
we are repeating electrochemistry at the moment and got a homework I'm not able to solve at all :(:
The quantity of M is to be experimentally determined in the spinel MAl2O4.
Only the following types of ions come into question: Sn, Fe, Co, Ti, Mn and Cu.

Volume in mL and electric potential (E)

Determine the titrated type of ion and calculate how many ions are yielded.

I'm hoping you are able to help me  :-\

Please post the question in its original wording.

I'm sorry, but that's the original wording, no further explanation or details ... which is the problem, I don't know what to do with the results of the measurement.

OK, recent posts page doesn't show attached images so I have missed part of the information.

Try to determine half-potential from the titration plot, that could be a clue. Note I am just wild guessing.
