Title: Luminol Experiment

Hi I am doing my individual investigation for A2 Salters. I have to do an experiment and I stupidly picked luminol (but it's so pretty!) when there are other far easier projects like decomposition of hydrogen peroxide. Now I am stuck with a problem. I can't find any websites which explain how luminol works in terms I understand. Could anyone explain it to me?
