Draw out the possible isomers for C4H10O and you should be able to see for yourself which one cannot be prepared.

Is it 2-methyl propan-1-ol? (I do not much chemistry and I have 0 confidence while answering questions)

No that can be prepared by reduction of isobuteraldehyde.
I would say it is 2-methylpropan-2-ol. Draw it out and confirm this.

No, try again. If you reduce an aldehyde, what kind of alcohol results? What about reducing a ketone?
