My bad, still a newbie.
I don't have a specific way that I tried to solve it. The question is in the context of organic chemistry. That was acctually a question from a homework assignment.

Why don't you try to the difference in terms of the difference in structures/properties of the H3O+ ion versus the ammonium ion or the properties of oxygen versus nitrogen?
