Title: Reaction aniline with sulfuric acid
Post by: Weckx on March 07, 2018, 10:06:12 AM
I really need help with this question of mine:  They ask me to neutralise aniline with 3M sulfuric acid. But then they want me to add KMnO4 and to neutralise this mixture with either solid Na2CO3 or 10% NaOH.

Can somebody help me with writing this (these) reaction(s)?

ps: I would be really grateful if I could get an answer by 14/03/2018 as this is when I need to give back my answer

Hello,
According to the forum rules (link in red at the top of the page) you need to provide your own thoughts and attempts before we try to help you.

We aren't going to just spit out an answer, the goal is to walk you through the thought process.

I will also note that some deft googling might get you at least some of these answers quickly.
