Title: water - cement ratio
Post by: Karkzu on May 03, 2018, 11:13:36 AM
Hi all
I have a question about effect of calcite surface area on water cement ratio

More water required when calcite surface area expand so the strength of the cement decreasing. Because, reduces the strength of concrete when excess water is evaporated.

But,  in my opinion water/cement is not rising, because excess water is absorbed by the calcite. In that case, surface area of calcite shouldn't affect strength of the concrete...
