Hi fellas,



someone is selling on ebay Valerophenone for quite resonable price

I would like to synthesis alpha-bromo valerophenone which brominating agent is best for selective brominating which will put bromine only to one place ?
afaik NBS brominate on two places is more selective than eg. TBATB(tetrabutylamminium tribromide), Bromine liquid any suggestions ?

What are you trying to synthesize? Pentedrone precursors?
