Hey, I'm someone not currently in school, but has a second level of undergrad chem understanding!
I was checking Reddit to see about this and got led here per /r/chemistry rules.
I kind of have a two sided question:
Currently, I am withdrawing from an antidepressant I use due to a new insurance (Venlafaxine, an SSRI) and trying to see if nicotine, THC, or alcohol can deal with it until it's over.
I'm honestly not getting anywhere on the second front and just want to know.
Can you shorten the chemical effects of a withdrawal by sleeping (shortening how s#*$ I feel through longer sleep), and can you shorten the effects of chemicals in your system by sleeping longer (shortening how much I feel an alcohol/THC/nicotine/ buzz through sleep)?
