Estequiometric question
« on: July 05, 2019, 12:20:35 PM »
With M and X unknown and the following formules and datas I have to find the molecular weigth of M and X.
2MXO3 =   3O2+       2MX
2.451g      0.9600g   1.491g

2MX  + 2AgNO3 = 2AgX  + 2MNO3
                         2.869g

I know that the quantity which I begin in the second formula is 1.491(the same that the final of the first formula), but I can't find another data for work. I tried to found the quantity of Ag, but I don't Know the total mol .A hint please

Well, there's one thing you do know. How many moles of O2 is 0.9600g?
