phenyoxyethanol in cosmetics
« on: July 11, 2019, 12:49:46 AM »
Hi. I'm not a chemist at all, but instead a concerned cosmetics consumer. I use a product containing phenyoxyethanol and am aware of it's stigma as a possible endocrine disruptor. Well, what do you guys think? I'll be doing my own research in my free time, but I was hoping someone with real chemistry expertise could help out a layman like me.

There are other moisturizing cosmetics without phenoxyethanol, unfortunately, more expensive. In addition, less sensitizing skin.
