Hello!
I am studying orgo 1 for a midterm currently and I came across a question today that asked about conformational isomers. It stated “conformational isomers are most similar to which analogy
A. A mirror image B. A frankestein-like version where the hands of one are where the feet of another should be (meaning the hands and feet are swapped in location between the two people) C. A person laying in a bed and a person laying in a chair”
The question did not have an answer key that I could find so i was wondering if anyone here would be able to shine a light on the answer for me.
I think it would be B due to rotation about the bond but I’m not sure.
