Can someone please explain to me this mechanism?
« on: October 07, 2019, 05:52:47 PM »
I'm trying to summarize this paper: https://pubs.acs.org/doi/pdf/10.1021/ac504300n and I'm not sure how exactly to explain what is going on in this mechanism. Any help is very appreciated.

It is a Forum Rule (see red link above) that you must show your attempt to answer before we can help you.  However, I see no harm in providing an educated guess about one small thing.  GOx is probably an abbreviation for the enzyme glucose oxidase.

Yeah, I know it's used to form gluconic acid and hydrogen peroxide, so it can then oxidize the prussian blue electrode. I'm just not sure if that's correct or not.
