If I have a volume of alcohol, and I want to convert the initial concentration to 60%, would I use this formula:
C1V1 = 0.6(V2), where C is concentration, V is volume, and the numbers are the initial ( 1 ) and end product ( 2 ).
If I supplied the concentration of an alcohol and the volume I wish to use ( C1 and V1 ), is there a simplified formula I could use which would output the amount of water I would need to add to convert the inputted concentration to the required ( 60% ) concentration?
