physical / chemical changes
« on: November 29, 2019, 08:57:25 AM »
hi I was reading an article about polymers that the monomers are connecting together by covalent bond  and be polymers so it's chemical change but it makes a question in my mind that if we have a polymer and broke it by a laser or cut it is it physical change or chemical change ??
(we know the polymer can have infinity monomers and so it can infinity length )

please answer my question
and also i'm sorry about my typing my local language doesn't English .

 thanks

Each formation of a new chemical bond or breaking of a chemical bond is a chemical change.
