I am trying to get salt form of metampicillin but don't know how. I think it is metampicillin soidum but how can I get that? How is the reaction happen?

Stoichiometry of acid and base reactions is usually very simple.
In practice, the reaction direction is different. It is from ampicillin salt that, in reaction with formaldehyde, metampicillin sodium is obtained.
