I want to fill this stand:


which can hold 82 kilo of sand and 62 liters of water with something much heavier. 120kg would be good atleast but sky is the limit really. The hole at the top has a diameter of 3.5cm. I have a budget about 50 - 100 dollars and I live in western europe. Does someone know which material(s) could be suited for that purpose?

Use CAUTION here.

Look into tungsten powder. It's usually packaged under nitrogen, because it's flammable in air.  But mixed with a suitable liquid, it's safe. It has very high density.

Tungsten powder is often used to make xray gloves, to protect the xray techs hands.The

Thank you all so much! I went for metal and bought 80kg of nails for the price of 130€. I mix it with sand to reduce noises inside the stand.
