hi,wanted to ask out of spherands & corands which would have higher affinity for alkali metal ions & why???kindly describe taking into account pre-organisation & kinetic, thermodynamic selectivity

I am not sure whether I am correct o not, but spherands are more rigid thus more preorganised, thereby have high binding constant than corands. So spherands should have high affinity for alkali metals than corands.
Am I correct ?
