I am doing an iodometric analysis of sodium hypochlorite, and I was wondering how much sulphuric acid (in mL) I would need to acidify my KI solution before titrating it using sodium thiosulphate and starch.
Right now, I plan to use 1L of 0.4M KI solution, and I know that the reaction between hypochlorite and Iodine (and protons from acid) has a ratio of 1:2, but that's all I know from there. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
