FeCl3 ferric chloride can test the phenol .
what is the word equation of acetaminophen with FeCl3 ?
And why does the color change not be purple , but blue/green ?
What're the factors contribute to the color ???

Doesn`t it depend on the particular phenol group that`s present that gives the colour change?
