Does anyone have any suggestions for a generally safe substance to use to clean my juicer. It is an Angel 5500 and the parts are stainless steel.
I juice carrots everyday and the tiny holes in the screen get blocked tafter awhile and the grinding gears eventually get coated by some sort of white substance which I think is calcium. There are many small crevices in the parts where things build up.
I have previously used bleach but it eats the material after awhile. I tried citric acid and it didn't work at all. Lemon juice doesn't work.
I currently use denture tablets which work but not as well as I would like. They are also expensive and take a long time, basically a day.
Is there a substance which will clean the screen and gears in a reasonable time very well?
Thanks
