Question I'm working on asks me to find M of an 25.0 mL NaOH if 25.4 mL of a 0.350 mol L-1 H2SO4 solution is completely reacted.
Worked through the problem by determining the mols of H2SO4 (.00889) and dividing it in 2 to get the mols of NaOH (.00445) in the solution since its a 1:2 ratio.
Then did mols NaOH (.00445)/solution volume (0.0250) to get Molarity: 0.1778 M
However this is a multiple choice question and the answer I got isn't listed. I also tried to solve by combing the two volumes at first, but that also gets me an answer that isn't listed (.08830 M)
Did I go wrong somewhere in my process?
Answer options given for context:
0.711 mol L-1
111 mol L-1
0.689 mol L-1
0.356 mol L-1
0.344 mol L-1
