Naoh + ch3cooh = idk what
« on: January 27, 2024, 10:56:12 AM »
So I mixed NaOH with some vinegar 9% (ch3cooh), I boiled it quite a bit and got white solid like thing (while it's still hot), is it ch3coona or some other thing?

It also formed around the edges of pot I was boiling it in.

I thought that it would be liquid at a hotter temperature but it was solid, nvm wikipedia say it would be 324 °C with no water
