Aluminium monoacetate stabilization method.

So I was wondering why AM is stabilized by large quantities of boronic acid? I think that it's used to create a buffer solution since AM is quite unstable and eager to hydrolise to Al(OH)3.

Removing the other thread, inorganic subforum seems a bit better.
