Extraction of Potassium from Potassium Iodide

So ive extracted the iodine from my potassium iodide but im not too sure how to extract to potassium from my solution. Any ideas?

Potassium as a metal? Not a home project in general. I believe there are some ways of doing it by means of a thermite type reaction, but I can be wrong.
