the reaction of potassium azide

Does anybody know how will potassium azide (KN3) react with hydrazoic acid. I have to do an exercise and I need this reaction. Thanks for some help. and sorry for my english:)

no problem with your english :)

an azide is the conjugated base of hydrazoic acid.

I would look into acid-base chemistry if I were you

There will not be a reaction, your solution will obtain an equilibrium of HN3 and N3(-) ions.

If you mean reaction of hydrochloric acid with KN3, then you'll see that most of the ionized HCl will react to form mostly non-ionized HN3. HN3 is only a weak acid.

No error. Acid/base equilibrium will be established. That means acid/base reaction will take place.
