Hello,
Does anyone know how to isolate quinones from vegetals (my extraction plant being Urtica dioica)?

My guess:
Quinones is not water soluble. So make a warm extract perhaps in ethanol? Filtrate it, and do a TLC for your record. Then perhaps pour in some alkali water solution (to remove acids), extract the solution with diethyl ether? Wash it with brine. And another TLC of the organic fraction?

Depending on the quinone...might not be soluble in much of anything.    :-\
React with something and isolate the product?

So can i work in the open air or i must work under protected atmosphere like N 2,
CO 2?

Please do an effort first, and do a reading into literature, ask the literature first. This is the first step to go for solving your problem. Look into solubilities for your quinones in Handbook.
