Hello, again.

I have one more year of high school after 2007 and I'm starting to think about where I should go for undergraduate school. I plan on getting a PhD in chemistry (inorganic or possibly nuclear chemistry because I have a high curiosity in super heavy elements.) and I'm not sure which school I should pick for undergraduate and which I should pick for graduate school. Which school would you guys recommend for undergraduate and for graduate? ...Since the graduate school will be the place I will do my research at.

(Reason I picked these two schools is that they are located around where I live as I don't really want to move from home yet. I still have some thoughts about Berkeley.. seems like the best place to go to study Chemistry. Would it still be considered bad to go there from undergraduate all the way to acquiring a PhD?)

You typically can not enter the PhD program at Berkeley if you get your undergraduate degree here too. That being said we have 2 graduate students in our nuclear chemistry group who got their B.S. here at Berkeley too.

Thank you, that clarified things for me. Hopefully I'll end up at Berkeley after I finish undergraduate studies. Inorganic chemistry sounds interesting but nuclear chemistry draws me in even more.
