Calculate the molarity of the resulting solution prepared by diluting 25.0 mL of 18.0% ammonium chloride (density = 1.05 g/mL) to a final volume of 80.0 mL.
Since this is dilution, I think I would be using the formula M1V1=M2V2. I am having trouble determining the molarity for the M1 value. Furthermore, I am not exactly sure how the 18.0% NH4Cl comes in to play. I do know that the final answer should be 1.10 M, but I do not know how to get there. Any explanation/clarification would be appreciated.
