P-nitroaniline+HNO2 decomposition reaction?

Also, what other products besides para red would be produced in this experimental reaction:
p-nitroaniline+NaNO2 with a basic solution of 2 naphthl to yield Para Red.
 Please explain.

And what are you looking for? Decomposition product from diazonium salt? (this possibility is considered in my link). Beta-naphtol couples with diazonium salts exclusively in alpha-position!
