Chemical theory

Use chemical means to know and separate each metal in the mixture: Ag, Au, Pt

You must select a method.  What is your method for separating those components?

A hint: there is an acid which Au and Pt don't react while Ag can react and there is also an acid which Au can react but Pt can't

Oh, sorry, I think you don't understand, the word "try" is not for you but for another, you're admin, the first thing that anyone can see that your knowledge is very very high, so I don't mean like you say, the thing I need is the discussion of everyone, we have one difficult problem, we need sharing. In my learning, I know one thing, I consider if another knows or not, I post to the forum in order to advance and provide more knowledge for everyone, not for proving I'm good or bad, because I'm only in 10th grade and I must also learn more and more. I know that this forum is very useful so I want to share my knowledge to each other.  :-\

First, using HNO3, only Ag solubles:
3Ag + 4HNO3 --> 3AgNO3 + NO + 2H2O
After that, we can use thermolysis method or electrolytic method to reproduce Ag:
AgNO3 --> Ag + NO2 + 1/2O2
The mixture left has Au, Pt; we use the mixture of HNO3 and HCl:
Au + HNO3 + 4HCl --> HAuCl4 + NO + 2H2O
3Pt + 4HNO3 + 18HCl --> 3H2PtCl6 + 4NO + 8H2O
Thus, use FeCl2:
HAuCl4 + 3FeCl2 --> 3FeCl3 + Au + HCl
Reproduce Pt:
H2PtCl6 + 2NH4Cl --> (NH4)2PtCl6 + 2HCl
(NH4)2PtCl6 --> (high temperature) Pt + 2NH4Cl + 2Cl2
