Benzenesulfonic acid reactions
« on: July 31, 2007, 04:10:34 AM »
Hi
Is here anyone who knows what kind of reaction this is? benzesulfonic acid + Nacl becomes benzonitrile. And benzenesulfonic acid+ PCl3 becomes benzenesulfonylchloride. And this one where benzenesulfonylchloride + NH3 becomes benzenesulfonamide. And when benzenesulfonamide react with NaOCl and becomes Chloroamine-B. And When sodiumphenoxide react with H+ and becomes phenol. And at last when benzenesulfonic acid reacts with NaOHand becomes sodium phenoxide. I wonder what type of reactions these all together 6 reactions is, is it all same type or is they different kinds of reactions?
I hope anyone can help me..
