Grignard Synthesis Malachite Green

Could someone please provide me with the mechanism or a link for the synthesis of malachite green from 4-bromo-N,N-dimethylaniline, magnesium shavings in THF, methyl benzoate, and quenching in HCl? Thanks, I'd really appreciate it.

I found the structure of the final product at that site but I couldn't find the complete mechanism.  Any other tips?
