Mixture of acid and base... pH?
« on: March 19, 2007, 08:58:03 PM »
I have 0.1 M NH3 and 0.1M NH4Cl, and their pH's have been calculated to be 11.1 and 5.13 respectively. Thus, the concentrations of OH- and H+ are 0.00134 and 7.45 * 10^ -6 respectively.

The next question on my worksheet asks what the pH will be when these solutions are mixed together. What do I do? Thanks.
