Well, figuring out the limiting reagent is pretty simple if you have the lab data for it. How much of each thing did you use? Convert it into mols and compare how much is needed to how much was used. Then you'll find that one of these is the limiting reagent. Once you have that, the limiting reagent will tell you the maximum possible (theoretical) yield, because you can't make more than your limiting reagent will allow.
