Contamination of Bottled Waters with Antimony Leaching from Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) Increases upon Storage

I was recently doing my periodic skimming of journal articles. I'm amazed that the PET industry allows as high as 150-200 ppm residual antimony in PET bottles used for the beverage industry (numbers from the above article). Any insiders on the PET industry that can elaborate on whether this is something for concern?
