KnO3 + C11H22O10 = ???
« on: March 18, 2007, 05:39:04 PM »
hi, i know this post has been posted before but i have looked every where and i cant seem to find the actual equation for it, the reason i need it is i showed my high school teacher and he said he wanted to incorporate it into his lesson plan, but he needs the chemical equation, so if any of ya know what it is, that would rock thanks for your time.

Assume it goes like

KNO3 + C11H22O10 -> K2CO3 + CO2 + H2O + N2

all you need is to balance it now ;)

Sum of all coefficients: 184.

Are you sure it is C11H22O10 and not C12H22O11? (Sum is 192 if the latter.)
