I would like to produce a small quantity of  ScIFe or FeISc (not sure what way round it should be written)
 I was wondering what would be the simplest way to produce this? If I were to heat some Scandium Iodide powder with some Iron filings in a vacuum would this produce the required material or is there a simpler method?
