hi i came across a chemical called TOCP. is this chemical toxic? and what are its effect?

I think you might be referring to Tri o-Cresyl Phosphate (CAS No: 78-30-8), you can probably get more info at

Thanks. What is this product used for?
I read some ware its paralyzed 50,000 people . it was found in an alcoholic tonic water witch they used the water of a contaminated lake some ware in the states. im not sure it paralized all of them though

I believe its a plasticizer, but it could be used for other things.
Plasticizers, btw, are small molecules added to plastics (like PVC, which are big polymers) to make them more flexible and malleable.
